On June 12, 2019 the EUPOL JMC celebrated its first experience with students from a primary school (Escola Olivera from Vallirana, Catalonia).
The activity sought to convey a brief talk about the EU to young students while also involving them in a didactic activity concerning a drawing context sponsored by the European Commission’s representation in Barcelona.
During the first part of the activity, the young students were given a brief talk on the EU by Francesco Camonita at the Sala d’Actes Àngels Torrents del Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics.
For the second part, the students were hosted in the European Documentation Centre in order to participate in the “Que es Europa per a mi?” drawing context. The context was also a good chance for celebrating the Europe Day while producing a series of EU-dedicated drawings. A selection of contributions can be consulted at this link.
